 James, William Stanley

September 09, 1929 – January 28, 2010

Stan James of Swift Current, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully at the PalliserHospital at the age of 80 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his ex-wife Beverly, daughters Heather and Holly and grand daughter Seren. He will be missed by dear friends Margaret and Corey Patrick, Vic Onraet and Mees, Dwayne and Marjorie Neufeld and long time friends and employees Barry and Elaine Cobbler. His beloved cat Muffin will miss him greatly. Left to mourn in Wales is brother Rodney (Doris). Stan was predeceased by his parents and sister in Wales as well as brother David in Canada.  Stan was best known for is business prowess and his love for hunting and gardening. In his younger years he was well known for his accomplishments in boxing. While living in Alberta he won the Golden Gloves award for amateur boxing.  We will cherish the memories of happy times but most of all will remember his strength and courage in the face of failing health.  A celebration of Stan’s life will be held at Parkside Funeral Chapel in Swift Current at 2:00 p.m. February 3, 2010.  If friends desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Swift Current SPCA.   For further information or to sign the family book of condolence, visit our website at www.parksidefuneralhome.com.  Arrangements entrusted to Parkside Memorial Funeral Home, Swift Current, SK.
