ROBSON – Lyle McBlain was born January 13, 1930 in Morse, Saskatchewan. He grew up on the family farm with two brothers, Don and Fred and two sisters, Sheila and Pat. Dad farmed the family farm until 2001 when he retired. He kept on helping out friends and family on their farms. Dad married his Miss Wright, Jane, on August 7, 1968. They welcomed three daughters Lalia in 1969, Margaret in 1972, and Vickie in 1975. He took great pleasure in coaching his girls in softball, and many other girls, for 19 years. His great pleasures in life were curling, fishing, golfing, his 7 grandchildren, and was a life long fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He loved to watch his grandchildren play hockey or baseball and brag about their achievements. Dad was predeceased by his parents Jack and Janet Robson, in-laws Wallace and Eleanor Wright, brother Don Robson and nephew Dale Keays. He is survived by his wife Jane, daughters Lalia (Kevin) Scott and their children Katelyn, Lanny, Reagan, and Patrick; Margaret (Aaron) Lapointe and their children Douglas, Shaun, and Allysa; and Vickie Robson; brother Fred (Mary) Robson; sisters Pat (Art) Davidson; Sheila (Bud) Myers; sisters-in-law Martha Robson; Eleanor (Tony) Monk; Anne (Tony) Cottam; brothers-in-law Christopher (Mary) Wright; Stephen (Racheal) Wright, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
