Cave, Nancy Ann Kathleen – born May 19, 1959, passed away May 18, 2009, at the Swift Current Regional Hospital. She is survived by her mother Maureen Cave of Swift Current, brother Gord(Joanne) Cave and children Crystal and Amanda of Blind Bay BC, sisters Jackie Cave of Swift Current and Joanne Cave of Calgary, son Michael (Melanie) Johnson and children Hali, Nelson, and Hunter, sons Gord Cave and Ken Johnson (Aimee Stennick) of Swift Current. Nancy was a dedicated employee with the Credit Union for 24 years. She was known to many as the ‘go-to-girl’ when they had questions. If she didn’t know the answer she could find someone who did. Many people in Swift Current knew her through their dealings with the Credit Union. She was an excellent seamstress and made many of her own clothes. She loved gardening, cooking, cross-stitch, and many other crafts. She left behind some beautiful pieces that will be cherished. Spending time with her grandchildren was a particular joy for her. She loved holidays and decorating, especially Christmas. She was always concerned that others were comfortable and satisfied before herself. Nancy had a terrific sense of humour and was the first to point out the irony of a situation. She was very friendly and always had a smile for everyone. She will be dearly missed. Funeral Services were held on May 23, 2009, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Swift Current with Pastor Alex Allan officiating. Nancy was laid to rest with her father and granddaughter in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Swift Current. Memorial donations can be made to the M.S. Society of Canada. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parkside Memorial Funeral Home, Swift Current, SK.
