KEHLER, Wesley (Wes) Philip, was born February 8, 1948, and passed away November 23, 2008, after a short battle with cancer. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 29, 2008, at the Zion Mennonite Church with Rev. Ray and Sylvia Friesen officiating. Wes was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Susie Kehler, and brothers-in-law Ted Baumann and Ken Wall. He will be sadly missed by his brother and sisters: Mary Lou (Sid) Koethler, Nancy Baumann Wall, Ed Kehler, Joan (Roland) Schafer, and Lorraine Kehler; and by his nieces and nephews: Kim Koethler; Curtis (Tiffany) Koethler, Evan and Grady; Kevin (Janine) Baumann, Kyra and Conall; Craig (Christy) Baumann; Ryan Baumann; Chris Kehler (Melissa), Aidan; Carri Kehler (Calvin); Ian (Laurel) Schafer; Alexis Schafer (Jay); Erica Schafer; Evan Schafer (Kristin); and Kortney Kehler-Shaw. Wes was born in Swift Current and was raised and educated in Wymark. After receiving his degree in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, he worked as an Ag Rep in Maple Creek, Assiniboia, and Gravelbourg. He was transferred to Lands Branch in Swift Current where he worked until he retired in 2003.
