NEUSTAETER Mrs. Anna. It is with great sadness, the family of Anna Neustaeter announce her passing on December 8, 2007. Born in Rosenhof to Jacob and Katherine Schapansky on April 5, 1920. Anna leaves to mourn her three sons: Henry, Abe and Ernie; her seven daughters: Margaret, Katherine, Mary, Eva, Betty, Susan and Barb; nineteen grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren; sisters: Katherine, Helen, Margaret, Agnes and Susan; and brothers, Abe and George. She was predeceased by her husband, Aron, in February, 1970; her son, Bill, in 1972; and her son-in-law, Lawrence, in 2002; her parents, Jake and Katherine Schapansky; her brothers: Jake, John and Pete; her sisters, Mary and Eva. Mom mostly loved her life on the farm and the work involved. She was an avid reader, but the quality of her life has not been good for the past year. “Gone but not forgotten Mom.” In lieu of flowers, the family request your donation be submitted to the auxiliary at the Swift Current Care Centre. The funeral service was held on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Schoenfeld, Saskatchewan. The interment was held at Chortitz Cemetery. The officiating clergy was Reverend Abe Funk and the pallbearers were daughters: Margaret Neustaeter, Mary Luepke, Betty Ginter, Katherine Dyck, Eva Neustaeter and Barb Neustaeter. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parkside Memorial Funeral Home, Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
